Interpersonal Chemistry is an ongoing book/serial about queers, misfits, and wrestlers (sometimes all three) that takes place in the year 2018 in the fictional city of Monument, Massachusetts. It’s rated M, intended for mature audiences only due to sensitive subject matters such as: mental illness, addiction, trauma, violence (typical of the setting), and vulgar language. It’s also available to read on Royal Road. It updates on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3pm ET.
Interpersonal Chemistry’s setting is based on Robert Cormier’s Monument, Massachusetts, as he is the late great uncle of Jack (the author). You may already be familiar with his work, in fact. He written titles such as The Chocolate War, I Am the Cheese, and The Bumblebee Flies Anyway.
Author J. Monahan/Jack Sinn (they/them) is a 30something that lives in central Massachusetts with their spouse and two weird dogs. Their background is in graphic design and in natural resources management. When not getting lost in the woods, they can either be found at their local indie wrestling promotion or at home watching bad 80s anime.
