Wrap-up Thoughts

Posted on September 20, 2023September 20, 2023 by Jack Sinn

I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t struggling with how to get this down on paper. How do you encapsulate your life’s work in a few paragraphs? (As I started writing this, it became a big long like…explanation as to why? Which is fine and good, but it’s also SEVERAL PAGES LONG. I’m…

New stuff!

Posted on July 11, 2023July 11, 2023 by Jack Sinn

OK so that’s kind of a lie lmao. Here’s the deal: Sometimes I write fics that take place during IC, but don’t make their way into the main story (canon divergence, another character’s POV, etc). I’ve been posting them on AO3, and I don’t heavily advertise their existence. However, after the DDoS attack that AO3…

Chapter 25.7

Posted on July 1, 2023July 15, 2023 by Jack Sinn

(a/n: As posted earlier, will be going on a two week hiatus. Chapter 26.1 will be posted on Saturday, July 15th. You may want to subscribe to the email reminders to be notified. Thank you for understanding.) Standing over the mattress, Mitch held the mug near Avi’s mouth. “Drink that,” Mitch said. “You came back,”…

Chapter 25.6

Posted on June 28, 2023July 1, 2023 by Jack Sinn

(a/n: Please read the latest news, it contains information about updates going forward. Thank you.) When they pulled into the driveway, Avi’s car wasn’t there. Jodie warned that he’d been withdrawn since she got back, alternating between apologizing and berating himself for not doing a better job at convincing Mitch to stay. “I can’t tell…

full transparency about future updates

Posted on June 25, 2023June 25, 2023 by Jack Sinn

Hey so. I want to give everyone a head’s up about future updates, while I’m in a steady headspace and can articulate this. My dog’s health is declining at an alarming rate. I don’t know how much time he has left, but I’m guessing it isn’t long. We take things day-to-day, but the days have…

Small updates!

Posted on June 3, 2023June 3, 2023 by Jack Sinn

Hello! In case you haven’t heard the news, I’m very excited to announce that I’m launching a webcomic on Monday, June 5th (JUST IN TIME FOR PRIDE MONTH OH HO HO). https://breadcrumbtrails.thecomicseries.com/ This is about Mitch and Dylan, and takes place about 7 years prior to the events of Interpersonal Chemistry. The first three pages…

Chapter 24.7

Posted on May 27, 2023May 31, 2023 by Jack Sinn

Although Jodie wouldn’t be back in time for New Years Eve, she encouraged everyone to use the school if they still wanted to have a party. The roster took advantage of her offer, since they’d thrown a party for the last few years; breaking what became a tradition was unfathomable, especially considering the promotion’s healthy…

Chapter 24.5

Posted on May 20, 2023May 24, 2023 by Jack Sinn

(A/N: There’s a news update + a sticker giveaway, which you can read about here.) Since the bakery was closed for the period between Christmas and New Years Day, Nate spent a few nights over. It’d be insane to not take advantage of this rare stretch of privacy while no one else was around. At…

Updates + Raffle

Posted on May 20, 2023May 20, 2023 by Jack Sinn

Hello! Got some IC related news for everyone. The first thing: I’m making a webcomic! I had the idea last year, but it was extremely disorganized (there wasn’t even a script! What the hell, me??). Happy to announce that the whole thing is now scripted, more than half of it is roughed, and the first…

Chapter 24.3

Posted on May 13, 2023May 17, 2023 by Jack Sinn

A few minutes later, Avi returned with his luggage and a new burgundy scarf around his neck, knit in a pattern identical to Mitch’s. “Oh, you’re leaving now? I thought you had a late flight.” Thought there’d be more time, he didn’t say, as if it even mattered. “Jodie sent me a text. Traffic’s already…

Mitch Calvert is 29 years old, an independent wrestler, and a goddamn mess. After suffering an injury during a match and being put on the shelf, he gets dumped by his boyfriend and is forced to yet again pick up the pieces of his life. He struggles with his self worth, combats addiction and trauma, and begrudgingly falls in love with his new roommate that he definitely has no chance with.

But what can you do? It's either take life's beatdown without putting up any resistance, or grab a steel chair and start swinging back.
