Smoke Break #5

Posted on February 4, 2023 by Jack Sinn

Last one!

Not much to report at the moment, it’s been the usual “write, draw, write, draw” marathon. Updates will resume this Weds! Yay!

I gotta say though, I’m so happy that I was able to completely restructure Chapter 21, and I don’t think I would have been able to had I not taken this breather. There’s a lot that’s been changed AND added to it, which makes this final portion of the story so much more cohesive for a few major upcoming plot points.

The good news is that the buffer is now sizeable, but I have to keep up on it. Going forward, I might do a week break in between chapter updates, if only to do light housekeeping/give the following chapter a final glance. I think that’ll be good for my own sanity and well being.

Now that said, I do have some exciting news. Well, it’s exciting for me. Maybe it will be for you?

SO GUESS WHAT I ORDERED LOL

I already posted the Avi keychain art, but here’s what the keychain dakimakura artwork. It’s doublesided, with both of these images:

Mitch ft. cute socks
THE WRETCHED BEAST

Everything should arrive in a few weeks (end of Feb/beginning or March). I mentioned it earlier, but quantities are going to be limited (5 Mitch keychains, 2 Avi keychains). I think they’ll be going up in my Ko-Fi shop, because that’s the easiest solution for me atm (ecommerce is a NIGHTMARE y’all).

Alright, that does it over here! See you guys on Weds when we resume our regular programing!

xo,

Jack

Mitch Calvert is 29 years old, an independent wrestler, and a goddamn mess. After suffering an injury during a match and being put on the shelf, he gets dumped by his boyfriend and is forced to yet again pick up the pieces of his life. He struggles with his self worth, combats addiction and trauma, and begrudgingly falls in love with his new roommate that he definitely has no chance with.

But what can you do? It's either take life's beatdown without putting up any resistance, or grab a steel chair and start swinging back.
