Update on things

Hello! Reminder that there won’t be a regular update today, and Chapter 22.1 will be posted on Saturday, March 11th. In lieu of that, here’s what I’m working on that’s related to IC.

As I mentioned in previous posts, March is NaNoRenO, which I’m participating in. Explanation on what that is, pulled from the official website:

NaNoRenO is a online game jam in which developers are challenged to make a visual novel from scratch. It runs from the start of March 1st to the end of March 31st, and has been run every year since 2005. NaNoRenO has no judging or prizes – the only rewards are those that come from the challenge and camaraderie with others.

I’ve joked about making a visual novel or dating sim for a few years now, and then I found out about this in 2022 like halfway through March. D’oh! But it’s happening now! I don’t know if the game will be finished by the end of the month (trying to keep my ambitions reasonable here), but I’ll be sure to post whatever I have done. In the meanwhile, here’s some portrait assets of Louis/Lucian and Sandy.

The other noteworthy thing is that a big merch drop is coming to the Ko-Fi shop on…I wanna say Saturday? I’m just waiting for another batch of stickers to arrive before posting everything, and they will probably be here by then. I’ll make a post on here when that happens, so if you’re interested in grabbing anything, it might be worth subscribing to updates (no pressure tho!). Here’s some of the stuff that’ll be for sale:

A lot of this is just me experimenting with merch types and stuff that I personally like, so I don’t know if any of it will ever get remade, or if I’ll have a batch of new weird stuff in a few months. We’ll see how it goes! I already have a bunch of designs that I’ve been picking at related to Liner Notes and Monster Mash Wrestling, so that might be the focus for next time.

EDIT: Oh shit, forgot to include this and remembered it right now! I’m trying to put together a links/webring-esque page, but it’s gonna take a few weeks to get posted. Unsure if anyone would wanna join or add to that, but let me know.
